Kenya AA coffee beans roasted to perfection

One of Pumphreys brightest, the best Kenya AA coffee.

Best of the Kenyan single origin coffee crop, extremely flavoursome and full bodied with a fruity acidity.

Heritage

Coffee is recorded to have been brought to Kenya in the 19th century. German Missionaries arrived bringing coffee bourbon trees with them, which they planted in this colonial era. Under the following British rule, the industry boomed and the Kenya coffee industry became well known for the Kenya AA, which was and still is associated with quality coffee.

In more modern times, Kenyan finest coffee has a strong following within the speciality coffee market, due to its diverse fruity flavour profiles. Kenyan coffee growing regions provide the perfect environment of iron rich, high altitudes, red volcanic soils and temperate climates.

It also benefits from advancement in coffee research and excellent developed local knowledge in processing methods. Ensuring that every coffee bean is processed to maximise its potential, producing an excellent ground coffee.

All green coffee is graded and labelled accordingly, AA refers to the size of the bean and is the very best high quality Kenya coffee beans.

At Pumphrey’s Coffee we only source the best kenya aa coffee beans and roast them for the fullest flavour possible.

About Kenya

After Kenya gained its independence from British Colonial control in 1954, it has managed to use the infrastructure that was left behind to create a booming economy. Kenya is one of the fastest developing African economies, it has also managed to remain one of the most peaceful too. Due to much of the population speaking the English language, Kenya has also increased its tourist industry year on year. Alongside coffee, it is also one of the world’s largest exporters of black tea.

Interesting taste experience – fresh, bright flavour, lively and strong, but sort of mellow also with no hint of bitterness. Indicates expert, balanced roasting, so all credit to Pumphreys. Will certainly buy this one again.

We’ve been drinking coffee for years and this is undoubtedly the best all-round coffee we’ve found. Strong without being bitter, with a real bite to it, this is the only coffee we drink these days.

Imagine waking up on a terrace watching the sun rise over a Kenyan game reserve. This coffee encapsulates the whole experience. Rich, earthy, yet smooth flavours with a real kick of caffeine and nuts. The perfect espresso or longer first cup of the day. It’s makes a brilliant creme which dances around the taste buds like a lioness with her Cubs. Hisghly recommended go-to bean for any bean to cup lover of the exotic.

Full, firm coffee taste. For a medium strength bean this is the best

I really love these beans. I generally use them for espresso or Americano. They have a bright, tangy flavour with none of the dark, over-roasted muddiness of supermarket beans. Those beans might well be cheaper but I’d far rather pay a little more for each cup than drink poor quality coffee. Recommended.

Now this coffee is the smoothest and sweet tasting full bodied (as are all the Pumphreys coffees) and my favourite. I always order this one, very enjoyable and sad when used up so time to order more!
