Having spent a few years buying Builders Tea or English Breakfast from we all know who, what a great experience it was to finally get back to drinking real English Breakfast Tea, Tea as it should be.

After struggling to find any loose leaf tea that was not just the same “dust” that is put in tea bags, we finally found this Pumphreys Indian Breakfast tea. It makes a very pleasant tea, with leaves that are all trapped by the fine mesh container in our teapot, thus giving us lovely leaf free tea in our cups.

The flavour is very good with a little milk and it is not so fine leaves that get through the strainer like the previous other brand we used. I will order again thank you

Lovely tea, with leaves large enough to remain inside our teapot’s “cage”.

Best tasting tea ever, full of flavour, what away to begin the day!

Best tea we have ever had. Puts all others to shame.
We buy 8 kilos at a time just for two of us – it doesn’t last long in this house.

We love this and drink a lot of it. We usually shop at the Grainger Market stalls but bought online due to the lickdown.

I ordered this for my parents. who have always used loose leaf tea but were getting very fed up of supermarket tea which used to be acceptable but nowadays is nothing more than dust. They loved this tea – robust full-bodied flavour but still smooth with no harsh notes. The leaves are chopped up smaller than I was expecting but absolutely not dust so definitely a win!

We’ve been buying this since the first lockdown when 3pm tea time became a family ritual. We love the classic taste and the fact that it cuts down on plastic use. It’s become such a household staple we recently decided to buy in bulk – we have enough for at least 6 months now! Delivery has always been prompt too.

Much prefer to other popular brands as the tea leaves are larger and does not get through the defuser like dust

Great tasting tea. So much more flavour than teabags and better for the environment. Will continue to buy.

Super product wouldn’t buy any other. We were given another brand by a friend who knew we liked loose tea, but it was nowhere near as good as this one!

Great tea – started as a lockdown treat, now a part of family life.

Great flavour but not overpowering

Perfect. Proper tea. Tastes clean and fresh. Not in the North East any more but it’s worth having delivered in my book.

Best tea I have ever tasted

We have been buying this tea for some years. It is excellent and makes a perfect cup of tea.

My absolute favourite tea – a real treat. I have given it as a present too on several occasions and it has always been appreciated by the recipients.

The usual excellece from Pumphrey’s! There is no better tea.

I bought this for my mother and I can’t repeat what she said this tea tasted like. I tried it myself and all that I can say is that it is incredibly weak both in colour and taste. I’d probably get a better beverage out of brewed hay. My mother asked me to stick to Tescos own brand loose leaf in future and not bother with trying to treat or surprise her!

Excellent tea, easy to order and prompt delivery.

In an effort to ditch tea bags and use loose tea instead I have tried this, I would have liked a more coarse cut of the leaves but overall I like this and will order again.
