Being a ‘normal’ human being I am sure there are nuances of flavour in this coffee that escape me but,suffice it to say,the taste is strong,dark and smooth and I really enjoyed.
I keep a spreadsheet of all the different coffees (38) I’ve tried,so far,and this one is No4 but may rise as I have only just started.

Coming back from Cuba where we enjoyed the dark coffees we were searching for something similar over here. We tried 6 different Pumphreys coffees and both voted this our favourite. It is strong but mellow with lots of nice undertones – not too strong for daytime but a delightful after-dinner coffee.
