China Gunpowder, also known as Green Pearls, is a popular green tea. It is pan fried and rolled into little pallets.
It produces a light green liquor with a delicate yet pungent taste.
Best enjoyed without milk.
Preparation: Use approximately 1 teaspoon per cup. Pour over fresh water at approximately 80C temperature and cover. Leave to stand for 3-4 minutes. Dispose of the used tea leaves.
Use with a tea strainer or tea pot to avoid the mess.
